Congratulations, it’s a boy – who will give birth next month.
Two proud papas are expecting a baby boy in February, London’s Daily Mail reports, in what will be the world’s second known case of birth by a “pregnant man.”
“We know some people will criticize us, but we are blissfully happy and not ashamed,” Scott Moore told the newspaper.
Moore and his husband, Thomas, were both born female and have undergone surgery to change their sex. The transgender California couple is legally married, as Moore still has his female birth certificate.
Baby “Miles” has two brothers waiting for him, 10-year-old Logan and 12-year-old Greg, Thomas’ children from a previous relationship with a woman who has since passed away.
Moore, born Jessica, told the paper he first realized he wanted to be a man when he was 11.
“When I told my family, they thought I was crazy, but they gradually realized I was serious and allowed me to start taking male hormones when I was 16 years old,” he said.
His parents eventually paid for him to have his 36DDD breasts removed, the paper reports, but he could not afford the high cost of full sex reassignment surgery.
Moore still has female reproductive organs, and got pregnant using the sperm of a friend in June 2009, the Daily Mail reports.
You know, there is such thing as abnormal psychology. This is NOT NORMAL. It is one thing to move to Funky Town. It’s another thing to start a family there and bring children into this disordered environment.
Pretending that this is not so is akin to the government pretending that a dude with the name Mohammed who acts weird, says he wants to blow things up and then does it, isn’t a terrorist.
Society cannot function if we don’t have some agreement on what is acceptable social norms. Freaks do not tend to build society, they tend to be around the edges eating away at its success.
Now, I’m libertarian enough not to want to get in this lady’s business, but I also don’t equate tolerance with approval. I don’t approve. No one should. It’s not good for her body (it’s self-mutilation on a massive scale). It’s not good for her children. It’s not good for society.

Wrong on so many levels. Yet…at the same time… I believe in the concept of “free will” (right along with ‘the depravity of man’).
So, I am loathe to forcibly prevent him/her/it from living life according to her wishes.
HOWEVER…comma… my objection is in being forced [at gunpoint] to subsidize behavior that I do not endorse.
This, I suspect is why most people object to any lifestyle. And, is why my politics (click on my name for details) rejects absolutely, the theft of property from one and transfer to another.

Self-indulgent and unacceptable.
I don’t have to tolerate the abnormal behavior of others, much less accept it. Especially when such behavior is bad for society.
But, I will not do anything directly to cause them grief or harm, either.
I simply choose to say No, and not consider such abominations “normal.” Because they aren’t.
As a person who believes in and abides by The Constitution, I will not do anything that will prevent them from pursuing their rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.
As long as my rights are, in turn, respected by them. And, I am not forced through the confiscation of my tax dollars to subsidize their strange lifestyle choices.

Tolerate… is a word I associate with soap scum on my shower when I am too lazy to clean it. it exists only because I have more desire to spend time on other things rather than clean… but I am disgusted by it’s very presence and will gladly pay a professional to eliminate it.

I appreciated your article. Finally some common sense.
What puzzles me the most is the willingness of the public to accept without question the media hype of a pregnant man. These people are women who have had their breasts removed; but still women. There is nothing really miraculous or unusual about the fact they got pregnant. The fact that they obviously still had their ovaries, uterus and all other organs necessary to carry a fetus to term means that they never underwent a sex change. At most they underwent some body modification. They are still women, regardless of what they may have convinced themselves of.
It is a sad commentary on our social culture of extreme accomodation that few are willing to say that the emperor has no clothes and that the whole sensationalized story is based on a false premise, because doing so would probably hurt the mother’s feelings.

Why Am I going to be forced to accept this? Why Am I wrong to think that these are seriously screwed up people? This is NOT NORMAL. A male with a “penis”, who considers himself a male, and a female with a “vagina”, who considers herself a female, procreate. Normal. Anything else is not. No matter how the participants feel that they are ‘normal’ they are not. Nothing ambiguous about it. I am not a bigot for thinking like this. They are the tyrants for demanding that their self satisfaction be imposed over everyone elses reality. Such is the intent of the left that the very undermining of a normal relationship is paramount to tolerance. I don’t give a fig about their self esteem. They have none! They are so self deluded that their is no ’self’ in their ‘esteem’. There is only illusion. And we must bend to their will or we are bigots!
Sorry folks. But your a freak show. Nothing more. And I will point at you and laugh because the choice you made is ridiculous. I like to laugh at the ridiculous.
