Andrew Sullivan Begins The Week Doing Another Sarah Palin Gynecological Exam

Andrew Sullivan, is, in a word, tedious:

I’ve emailed Bellow asking him about the fact-checking process for “Going Rogue.” Getting an on-the-record confirmation that, for example, Harper Collins reviewed the medical records proving Palin’s multiple medical stories (including corrected hospital records by her own account) would be a useful piece of information. Since it appears that the McCain campaign knew nothing of these rumors, and indeed, by some accounts, nothing even of Bristol’s pregnancy, it would be reassuring to know that someone somewhere has actually sought proof of some of Palin’s wildest embellishments or total fantasies.

Sullivan does produce some useful psychological insight into stalkers and conspiracy theorists. They aren’t motivated by facts or reality. And, in fact, engaging them is pure folly as their aims are not truth, but connection to their obsession. The problem for Andrew, is that Sarah Palin is just so far away and detached from him. If only he could be with her. If only he could be her.

Alas, some things are not to be. I hope the Palins have good bodyguards.

What was it that Ramses II said of Moses in the epic film? Something like “Let him speak so that the world may know him mad.” Yeah, that.

I found a lot of grammatical errors in the book. Palin bashers would say this means she’s illiterate. Palinbots would say this means that maybe the editors did this on purpose to make her look bad. My view is that it’s no big deal.

With Palin you get the best of both worlds. On the one hand, you get to listen to someone speaking common sense from a big national podium. On the other, you get constant entertainment from the buffoons who pull whatever they can right out of their rear ends to toss at her.

Oh, well, off to do mommy things now. At least my kids have a reason for being childish. What’s Sullivan’s excuse?

Oh, have you heard that joke going around? Obama supporters say, “We’ll show Obama’s birth certificate when you show Palin’s high school diploma.” The response? “DONE!” Ha! Funny.

What is projected on Palin is the stuff of psychopathology textbooks. You’d think the Left would at least tire of promoting their sworn enemy. Alas, no.

I’d like to learn more about Sullivan’s focus on Gov Palin …… not a list of his “bad acts” per say, but examples of them that are characteristically psychopathic – ……

As “for warned is for armed” I guess I’d like to know more about how to spot psychopathic “moonbats” -

Thanks for your blog …. I think it’s wonderfully laid out -

I believe Nixon had at least one observation that was right:

“It is the responsibility of the media to look at the president with a microscope, but they go too far when they use a proctoscope.”

The same could be true of just about anyone they choose to shred.
