I saw an amusing set of pictures where Katie Couric was trying to cut in line to speak to Sarah Palin. Two security guard were keeping Katie away. Katie was presuming to have a relationship and Sarah didn't know her from Adam. Guess which one was smiling?

The best revenge is living well. Sarah Palin will be a hot Media prospect for the next decade. The people in the media who dissed her will be frozen out. Who wants to put up with ill mannered folk?

I have seen Liz Cheney in hostile talks shows with various hostile pundits and she attacks on the policy and facts and is very good. Palin could learn a lot from her and Cheney's father how to keep to their point and not whine or complain and above all not be apolegetic.

Thank you for a very good article.

What Sarah Palin needs is exposure. It is only by talking to a hostile media and turning the table on them, that she will relax and do as good a job as she did on Rush Limbaugh. She needs to have her own camera crew though to keep the press honest.

Sarah must accept that she is going into the lion's den, so she must keep her chair and whip handy. But the art of showmanship in lion taming is to appear so self confident that she makes it look easy.

Sarah will be getting considerable coverage because of her book. Many of the lies told about her are being thrown back into the faces of her critics.

The Katie Couric interview was sabotage from McCain staffer's who were supposed to be handling her. The fashion consultant recently confirmed that Sarah Palin's $150 thousand wardrobe scandal was contrived by high level McCain staffers. Sarah never asked for the clothes nor did she pick them out. It was the staffers who were in control of this and they later leaked false complaints.

Sarah will be able to keep up the buzz for some time. And as the country moves toward the midterm elections, she will be able to increase her influence. Her second book should be coming out before the Midterms. Perhaps, she will get her own TV show. If so, she will get a chance to interview other people. Wouldn't it be nice to see her opponents grilled. All in all, this should be good political theater. Her influence is not waining, because the Left hate and fear her so.

I do not know if this fame & notoriety will indicate a political career, but she will be very good at cleaning house in the Republican ranks. If Conservatives are elected to office, then we can set this country to rights even if Sarah remains behind the scenes.

Your article is very good.I like your style of writing.Thankyou for writing this.Yes I noticed her looking towards her girls with love and yes pain. Are they so twisted they can not see we notice these things out here?I watched her on Orielly tonight and this woman I feel I can trust and believe. Will she become the 45th POTUS?Time will tell, she does have what all Americans have,a chance.Even the poorest person in America can become the richest if they apply themselves.I will buy and read her book.I never paid her much attention before. However after reading almost all her FB notes,I sure am now.

[...] Dr. Melissa Clouthier has a terrific piece today. I’ve only heard snippets of the Oprah thing, because I just didn’t want to watch Oprah any more than I want to watch Katie Couric. I did catch the Rush interview though, and Dr. MC nails it. [...]Anyway, before I get into the details, my overarching impression wasn’t related to Sarah Palin at all, but rather to the state of the press in general. For example, here’s Sarah Palin going into hostile Obama-loving territory on Oprah. She was on edge, and fought defensiveness, much like her interview with Katie Couric. But she did it. Unlike Barack Obama, who has studiously avoided any interview from anyone who isn’t a “friendly”, Palin demonstrates some gumption.[...]So, here’s Sarah Palin going forward into Oprah’s female den of iniquity. Oprah needs Sarah like Sarah needs Oprah. Sarah Palin needs to appeal to a broader slice of the electorate. Oprah needs ratings. It’s mutually beneficial and one of the bile-inducing decisions politicians make. Oprah doesn’t ask Sarah Palin substantive questions. Oprah asks Oprah questions–about Levi coming to Thanksgiving, about her marriage, etc. Rush Limbaugh called the questions “soap opera stuff”, but that’s Oprah’s audience. Palin did relatively well. [...] Rush’s interview, in contrast, made Sarah Palin sound like a wise elder statesman. He didn’t throw softballs. To the contrary, he asked her substantive policy questions. Guess what? She didn’t stumble. She flowed. It was great to listen to, really, and heartening. Rush asked her questions on everything from national security, foreign policy, oil exploration, health care and illegal immigration. Not one stutter. Not one hiccup. She was flawless. [...]
