    While I agree with the opinions you express on the Fort Hood killings, I can’t agree with calling this massacre a tragedy. It is an atrocity. Calling it a tragedy ignores Hasan’s intentional acts on behalf of his beliefs and assists his apologists in shifting attention away from him as a perpetrator. In a tragedy, everyone is a victim. In an atrocity, there is the perpetrator an his victims.
