The Limbaugh Lesson: [Conservative] White Guys Finish Last–UPDATED

October 15, 2009 / 12:15 pm • By Dr. Melissa Clouthier

If Rush Limbaugh can be black balled because his political views are not in line with politically correct orthodoxy no one is safe. If Rush Limbaugh can be thwarted economically because he’s maligned by racist words he doesn’t believe and he never uttered, no one’s economic dreams are safe–anyone can say that a person said anything and if that person believes something unpopular to the ruling class, they’re done.

Here is the hierarchy of economic safety in a politically correct charged world:

Least safe: White, middle aged, alpha-male, person of color who votes Republican, female who votes Republican
Less safe: Anybody who is white
Moderately safe: Anybody who is white and voted for Barack Obama
More safe: Anyone who is of color and voted for Barack Obama
Safer still: Anyone who is female and of color
Safest of all: Black, lesbian Obama voter (If she voted for Hillary in the primaries, she’s suspect.)

We are no longer a merit-based economy, we are a skin color and political ideology-based economy. We are exactly what Dr. Martin Luther King didn’t want: a place where people are judged not by their accomplishments, not by the content of their character, but by their color and political perspective.

And why is conservative put in brackets in the headline? Because white guys are suspect until they’re clear about their voting record. Once a white man admits that he made the “right” decision and voted for Barack Obama, people can relax…but only a little. White people are racists. They can’t help it. You just never know about white people, so it’s best to not get too comfortable.

For an alternative view, Sean Hackbarth.

Rush Limbaugh has done very well for himself by espousing views not in line with the politically correct orthodoxy. To hold him up as someone who is being thwarted economically is really quite a stretch. Let’s be realistic, Limbaugh would have been a distraction for the players and the league and that’s bad for business. Rush is a savvy businessman and I’m sure he understands that the shtick making him millions on the radio limits his options elsewhere.

Get over it, lady. Limbaugh did this all to himself with his own mouth. When you voice nothing but hate it comes back to you.

You two clearly have NO idea what Rush actually says and believes. You actually BELIEVE the lies that are being told. In case you don’t realize, that tells us more about YOU then it does about Melissa or Rush. Keep up the flock, Sheep.

And Jporter, because he’s made a lot of money doing one thing, he’s not allowed to make any more money doing something else?

Are you really that elitist (as those you clearly follow)?

The NFL all too often looks like a game between the Crips and the Bloods without any weapons.

    Says Rush.

And of course he was only meaning that the game wasn’t being played in a decorous manner.

    Of course, of course.

I refuse to admit that anyone is more willing to acknowledge the high level of outright stupidity produced by Melissa, but I can’t find it within myself to think that even she is dolt enough to have written this column seriously.

And what was that quote in context to, do you know that? I’ll bet you don’t. But we’ll wait while you figure it out.

And when you make comments like that, it tells us more about you than anything Melissa, or even Rush, says or writes.

Fuster, if you will look again, you’ll see that he wasn’t speaking to you that time.

The thing is fuster – YOUR saying that word SHOWS you have NO idea the context of what he said.

Now I’ll ask again – what context were those words spoken? You don’t KNOW, you only know what your liberal blogs have said “this is what he meant”.

    Dave, you remain clueless.
I took the quote from a transcript of the guy’s show, not a blog.
I start to doubt the authenticity of your GED diploma.

Actually, the absolute safest of all is the white male elite liberal, the massas who run the plantation and actually hold minorities and women in contempt.

No you didn’t fuster, you are taking what someone ELSE said about the comment and that it “means” Rush is a racist. And don’t say you didn’t, because that’s EXACTLY what you meant when you typed your comment on here.

You put down and harangue EVERYONE here who agrees with Melissa’s point and even Melissa herself, but you NEVER back up your accusations or opinions with anything BUT someone elses opinions on their own blogs and sites. Do you actually have your own opinion? (not that any liberal would, especially if it doesn’t jive with the “accepted” ideas of the VERY people she is talking about here).

Any who knows the ACTUAL context of the words Rush did say, would KNOW that they aren’t in any way racial. I’ve explained the exact context to three others in real life, and when they understand it, they easily admit that “yes, all those screamers are taking it completely out of context”. YOU put the quote in your post FIRST (it’s not even in Melissa’s post, if you’ll notice. She didn’t bring it up, you did). YOU don’t know the context. YOU meant it for the reader to “assume” it was blatantly racial, because most people, especially ones that don’t even listen to his show, don’t know the context either – THUS Rush is a racist.

You do this all the time, you bring up something false. We catch you on it, and then you start calling us names and accusing us of all sorts of stuff, even not graduating from High School. And so far, you have NEVER come back with anything to back up your outlandish statements, but posts from others in the tin foil hat/everything is Bush’s fault crowds. And when we point out the falsehoods in those places, you stop posting.

Dave, you have a real gift of stupidity.I have already told you that the quote comes from a transcript of Limbaugh’s show and I read it there.
I don’t have any idea why you would insist that I read it in some liberal blog. I didn’t. That you continue to insist on something that isn’t true and that you can’t possibly know only confirms that you’re infantile and/or nuts.
For the last time, davy, read my original comment. I didn’t say that Limbaugh’s comment was BLATANTLY racist.
To someone with a decent grasp, my remark acknowledged, and rejected, the thought that Limbaugh was merely decrying a lack of suitable conduct by the players.
If you can’t read clearly, at least read.
Better yet, go back to the back of the sheep.
Even Clouthier deserves a better defense than you provide.

Then why did you even post fuster? Hmmm??

So you call us and Melissa stupid and not even worth our “G.E.D.’s”, but then is this LAST post you claim you posted exactly what Melissa is stating, that Rush DIDN’T make a racial comment.

I’m trying to get where you coming from? Do you agree with Melissa and most of us here after 16 posts? Did you disagree for all the middle posts? Or are we just dumb bumpkins?

So you’re changing your argument then after all these posts?

And please, I’ll ask again. SHOW US THE TRANSCRIPT YOU ARE GETTING THIS FROM. You keep telling us you read it, but you won’t show us. As always you claim everything, but you can’t back it up.

Dave, you continue to pile stupid on top of stupid.

Even in grammar school they teach the function of adjectives.

my comment was that he wasn’t BLATANTLY racist.

    b l a t e n t l y is an adjective. it modifies the noun r a c i s t.
it doesnt mean that limbaugh’s comment wasn’t racist. it means that it was a guardedly racist statement.

similarly, if I say that you’re statements are those of a remarkable
jackass, it doesn’t mean that you’re not talking like a jackass.

dave, if you need it, go to the website of Rush Limbaugh and type Jan19,2007 in that little space where they let you type things.
    it’s a little white rectangle with the word s e a r c h to the left side.

Ahh, we finally get to the crux of the matter. Because YOU think it was a racist comment, then by golly it MUST be a racist comment. (Don’t worry, we all remember, YOU’RE the great Centrist whom is always right, and everyone who disagrees with you is wrong. Which we shot down – and you stopped posting.)

We all DO see where you come from, but it took you this long to actually type it out with out using big dictionary words so that you think others will think your educated. When you can clearly and LOUDLY point out the racist comments from your OWN side and decry them as such, then you actually might start getting some credibility, but you’ve got a long way to go.

do you think that it matters that shtpots such as sharpton and jackson are opposing limbaugh. I don’t think it matters that there are other people making racist remarks.
limbaugh remains responsible for what he says and does.

I am glad to see that people are actually thinking about this. When a person black, white or any other nationality says or does anything that belittles or without saying it out loud has a bent personal view about race. It should come back to bite them in the Butt!
