Robbie…maybe it was OK for Alford to call her “ma’am” but not for Gen Walsh to do so because she views Walsh as one of her *employees*.

As a higher and higher of the workforce becomes direct or indirect employees of the government, expect to see a lot more arrogance from Congresspeople directed at them.

I did notice that several times during the video, Mr Alford responds to Boxer with the very condescending “Yes Ma’am”, but unlike General Michael Walsh, she didn’t interrupt him and demand to be called “Senator”, because dammit…she earned it.
