Personally, I don’t think we lost because of Palin. Vice Presidential candidates don’t win or lose elections. We lost because of the top half of the ticket. John McCain — and the people he picked to run the campaign. They did us in folks.

It would be just so wrong to blame Palin for the failure of the Republicans in the the election. It was surely the last administration and the disastrous economy that turned the people away.
It was over by the time McCain made the risky move of selecting Palin. Her inept campaign performance and obvious unreadiness merely added a comedic dimension to the failure.
