Melissa -

I would suggest you delete M. Bouffant's comment simply out of basic human kindness. She seriously embarrassed herself, and I'm sure she'll appreciate your act once she grows up and graduates from high school.

Point 1: Notice how she purposefully puts a false quote from Andrew in quote marks. She's hoping and praying that the reader of your post won't have bothered to read Andrew's heartfelt apology and trusts her to quote correctly. This form of blatant, unabashed lying is typical of Lefty pawns.

Point 2: Considering that Andrew's entire article was one long apology, it was obviously much more than a mere "sorry your feelings were hurt" -- another false quote by M. Bouffant.

Point 3: As far as the Lefty tool she quoted goes, who's to say Andrew was 'externalizing anti-lib characatures'? What if they actually did have "defiant smugness", "sneering" attitudes, et al? This did, after all, take place in Southern Cal, where one expects such attitudes. And the two protesters did, after all, raise the Black Power salute, an allusion the young M. Bouffant obviously missed.

Point 4: And I'm sure you noticed the objective, unbiased source she used: Vanity Fair, a magazine so blindingly liberal that it makes even long-time Democrats blush.

Exit question: When the objective, unbiased Mr. Fallows says Andrew had internalized these feelings "for so long," do you think he's aware that Andrew Breitbart was a co-founder of the ultra-liberal Huffington Post?

Keep up the good work,
Dr. M.

Oh please. That wasn't an apology from Breitbart. Someone sent him an e-mail asking,
"were you the jerk flipping off those people protesting child soldiers?" & he realized he'd better cover his behind before it got out.

He made no apology beyond "sorry your feelings were hurt."

And his original reaction?

"It's instructive how once he assumed it was leftwingers ruining the vista he projected on to their faces "sour looks," "defiant smugness," "sneering" attitude, and "arrogance." In short, he externalized the anti-lib caricatures that he's internalized for so long that he actually thinks the figments in his head conform to some kind of reality."

From James Fallows of Vanity Fair. I think that sums up the "New Media" quite well.
