I completely agree that the whole stimulus thing is a total boondoggle. However, if I were running a business, I'd have to consider getting in line for the handouts. Why? Consider the predicament Ford is in right now. By all accounts, they don't need bailout money. However, if GM and Chrysler are going to get money, and Ford doesn't try, then Ford is allowing the government to put it at a competitive disadvantage.
