About Caroline Kennedy–UPDATED

December 17, 2008 / 1:42 pm • By Dr. Melissa Clouthier

So, the American Princess desireth a Senate seat. Well, of course she does! She has everything else and what do you get a girl who has everything for Christmas? Barely restrained power, of course. It’s what all the girls want these days.

Aside from the nepotistic, inbred, closed community called leftist Senatorial politics, let’s be real here: It ain’t no big thang to be a United States Senator. If you’re smarter than your Pet Rock, have no real-life experience to speak of, have a vague grasp of world events (aka scan the New York Times Sunday edition), and follow the liberal ideology, what’s to know?

There are only a few things that you have to believe to be a useful Democrat and in their view, a useful American:

1. War is bad.
2. Abortion is good.
3. God is suspect.
4. Government is infallible.
5. Guns kill people.
6. Criminals are victims.
7. Global warming is man made.
8. Corporations are evil.
9. Taxes need to go up.
10. They know what’s best for you

See? Simple. Don’t hassle Sweet Caroline. She’s got all the qualifications she needs to be a Democratic Senator from New York. She’s probably over-qualified.

More here.

Mary Katherine Hamm calls her quest not terribly “auspicious”.

    Only in America:

How many Kennedy’s, how many Kennedy generations, will spend an entire lifetime, living off the money of “Daddy”, Joe Kennedy, Sr., and the reputations of Jack and Bobby?

If Caroline doesn’t want the job, maybe Paris Hilton would consider being a KENNEDY EMERITUS; and restore a little sanity to Capital Hill.

And how many people voted for Caroline’s father because he was a Catholic?

Eunice Kennedy Shriver (sp?) is unflaggingly pro-life. I’m surprised they still allow her to mention her maiden name in public.

Since I’m from New York, this is pretty embarrassing. Leaving aside the issue of not taking much to be a senator, I would point out the qualifications of this person, which are none. She has no political experience whatsoever. Secondly, the idea of Ted Kennedy telling Gov. Patterson (who I think is a freaking doofus) that New York will get more perks if they go with Caroline is appalling.

And why wouldn’t Caroline get the job? The leftnuts downstate love people like her, and they pretty much dominate the voting aspect (not that it matters here, since she’ll be appointed). So, once again, New York State will be collectively stupid and fall for a name-drop.

She has about as much real-world experience as “The One”.

    So, what’s the problem?

Caroline didn’t get the call-back for that New York job. Too bad. To paraphrase her daddy:

    “Its unfortunate — but
    true — life ain’t fair.”

    In this case, it is.
