		<description>There might be the possibility of a &quot;filibuster,&quot; but given the Republicans in there, there won&#039;t be much of a problem for the Democrats.  If they do, like Melissa said, the Democrats will simply blame problems on them.  This is why I don&#039;t think 2010 will be a watershed year for the Republicans.  In fact, if the Democrats don&#039;t get a filibuster-proof Senate this time around, they will probably have in two years.</description>

The issue is not stopping vast social programs.  It&#039;s about the camel&#039;s now under the tent, how many new little entitlements spring up.  These are always impossible to kill once planted, and guaranteed to grow.  Like cancer.

For this, the Democrats need no cover.  To the left they say &quot;it&#039;s a start.&quot; And to the right they say &quot;No budget-busters here.&quot;</description>
