		<description>Fortunately, there was very little if any, major damage in The Woodlands.  Aside from wind blown trees and high water in Lake Woodlands, all is well and we will recover.  I found some interesting pictures of the wake left by Ike.

		<description>We got power back in the Tomball area as early as Tues. My place which is about 6 miles north got power Wed. and would have had it sooner except for a tree on the line going to me house.
We got hit with a microburst that pulling 100 year old oaks out by the roots, I lost 8 of those myself. The power people are doing a great job. The phone service was on then off then on again.
I still have a hole in the roof and the tree that put it there is still there but we are hoping to get those items addressed today.</description>
