I have to say, as one who doesn’t have a dog in this fight (I’m a Brit) I think you’re being a bit silly about Obama, even as I agree with much of your analysis. Yes he is inexperienced, has a very thin record of achievement, and is a little too enchanted with himself. But what does ’seems shady’ mean? I don’t understand why having dual citizenship is a problem. This sort of vague accusation doesn’t become you. And what do you mean he can’t say he loves America? He says it in every bloody speech, at length. I wish he’d shut up about it, frankly. But then being English I’m not accustomed to overt displays of patriotism.

Other than that – why are you so angry? Aren’t there enough angry people out there, on both sides? Most of them much dumber than you? A bit of rational enquiry wouldn’t go amiss. Perhaps both sides might extend the spirit of good will to the other, for once? But then the candidates aren’t setting a good example, I suppose…
